CAD Viewer 3D and Quote Engine

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms", "Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and the developers and publishers of CAD Viewer 3D and Quote Engine ("we", "us", or "our"), distributed under package identifier cad.threeD.viewer.step.threemf.stl.dxf.measure.quote.

By downloading, installing, launching, or using the Application, you represent that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our companion Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms, you must discontinue use and uninstall the Application from your devices.

2. Grant of Limited License

Subject to your ongoing compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable limited license to install and use the Application on Android-compatible devices that you own or control.

• Commercial and Professional Usage: You are authorized to use the Application for professional engineering evaluation, industrial manufacturing quotes, quality control inspections, supplier negotiations, and commercial shop-floor operations.
• Scope: This license does not convey any ownership interest in the Application, its underlying native source code, or related trademarks.

3. Intellectual Property and Customer Design Ownership

Because all 3D mesh rendering and parsing occurs exclusively within local memory on your device, we have neither access to nor possession of your designs. You are solely responsible for ensuring you hold appropriate licenses or rights to view, inspect, or estimate any CAD files processed through the Application.

Application IP: All rights, title, and interest in and to the Application - including the user interface, brand assets, icons, algorithms, and documentation - remain the sole property of the developer.

4. Manufacturing Cost Estimations and Quotation Disclaimer

The Quote Engine uses geometric algorithms based on part envelope volume, solid volume, and standard material density tables. Real-world manufacturing costs depend on factors outside automated inspection:

• Tolerances: High-precision tight tolerances significantly increase machining time and inspection costs compared to standard workshop tolerances.
• Surface Finishing: Secondary treatments like anodizing, plating, painting, heat treatment, or polishing require separate supplier pricing.
• Tooling Access: Multi-axis milling, deep cavities, internal threads, or custom fixtures add unique machine shop setup costs.
• Material Market Pricing: Raw material stock costs and local machine shop labor rates fluctuate based on regional market conditions.

Verification Requirement: You must always obtain certified quotes from your qualified manufacturing partners, machine shops, or 3D printing vendors before purchasing materials, cutting tooling, or issuing binding production orders.

5. Pro Subscriptions, Free Trials, and Billing

The Application offers both a Free Tier (with core viewing and inspection features) and a Pro Tier (providing unlimited quotes, advanced formats, batch processing, and watermark-free PDF exports).

• Payment Processing: All in-app subscriptions and purchases are processed exclusively through Google Play In-App Billing. We never receive or store your financial payment details.
• Entitlement Management: Subscription state and receipt validation are managed securely via RevenueCat.
• Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the conclusion of the current billing cycle. Your Google Play account will be charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time directly in the Google Play Store app: Google Play > Profile > Payments and Subscriptions > Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing term.
• Refunds: Refund requests are governed directly by Google Play Store Refund Policies.

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree that you will not:

• Decompile, reverse-engineer, or attempt to derive the source code of the Application or its native libraries, except where permitted by applicable law.
• Bypass, disable, or tamper with any digital rights management or subscription paywalls.
• Rent, lease, sell, or redistribute the Application without express written authorization.
• Use the Application in violation of applicable national or international laws.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITH ALL DEFECTS, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.

WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE OPERATION OF THE APPLICATION WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE WITH EVERY NON-STANDARD CAD FILE.

8. Limitation of Liability

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL THE DEVELOPERS OR DISTRIBUTORS OF THE APPLICATION BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF REVENUE, OR LOST BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES;
• MANUFACTURING SCRAP, MACHINING DAMAGE, OR TOOLING LOSSES;
• DATA CORRUPTION, PROJECT DELAYS, OR DOWNTIME;
• COST OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS OR SERVICES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APPLICATION EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU FOR THE APPLICATION OR ITS SUBSCRIPTION DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the developers, officers, and licensors from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable legal expenses arising out of your violation of these Terms, your unauthorized use of the Application, or your infringement of third-party intellectual property through files you inspect or quote.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of your jurisdiction without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. Disputes shall first be addressed through good-faith informal consultation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to competent courts having jurisdiction.
